In Lucknow, Uttar Pradesh Deputy Chief Minister Brajesh Pathak expressed confidence in the BJP’s ability to win all nine seats in the upcoming state by-polls. He emphasized the impact of Prime Minister Modi’s welfare schemes and the party’s focus on development and law and order.

The BJP has announced its candidates for the by-polls, including Ramvir Singh Thakur from Kundarki and Suchismita Maurya from Majhawan. Meanwhile, the INDIA bloc, led by Samajwadi Party President Akhilesh Yadav, will contest the by-polls under the Samajwadi Party’s ‘cycle’ symbol. Yadav highlighted the alliance’s commitment to preserving the Constitution, reservation, and harmony.

Nominations for the by-polls are open until October 25, with voting scheduled for November 13 and results to be announced on November 23. The by-polls cover 48 constituencies across 15 states, with the Election Commission of India overseeing the process.
