US Embassy Hosts Event at Wellham Girls’ School in Dehradun

Aastha Virk Singh, a senior advisor at EducationUSA, explained that the officials are providing comprehensive information about programs, scholarships, and the application process for US universities. She noted that there are over 4,000 accredited colleges and universities in the US.
Singh stated that EducationUSA is a US government program that assists students in applying to US universities. The event at Wellham Girls’ School included sessions on how to apply, available programs, scholarships, and the components of the application process. Visa officers from the US embassy were also present to inform students about student visas.
Singh added that the response from students has been very positive, and the officials are in Dehradun for 3-4 days to provide detailed information about opportunities in US universities.
