UP Police Constable Recruitment Exam 2024 Begins

The Uttar Pradesh Police Constable Recruitment Exam 2024 started on Friday with tight security measures. The exam will take place over five days from August 23 to 31 across the state, with two shifts each day.

Security Measures in Moradabad

DIG Moradabad Range, Muniraj G., stated that there are 69 centers in the 5 districts of Moradabad division, with 26 centers in Moradabad district alone. Around 29,000 candidates will appear for the exam in one shift. All centers are under CCTV surveillance, and verification of ID and face will be done using Artificial Intelligence.

Arrangements in Lucknow

DCP Central Lucknow, Raveena Tyagi, mentioned that around 80,000 aspirants will take the exam across 81 centers in Lucknow district. Drones are being used for surveillance, and there are arrangements for checking and frisking aspirants. Police are stationed at major bus stands, railway stations, and metro stations. City buses and inter-district buses are available for aspirants.

Examination in Noida

Joint CP Shivhari Meena informed that the exam is being conducted at 18 centers in Noida. Security teams are ensuring proper frisking and checking of aspirants. DCP Traffic and his team are managing traffic effectively.

Aspirants’ Perspective

An aspirant shared, “We have been waiting for the exam for a long time. This is my last attempt for this exam and I am fully prepared.”

In February, Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath ordered a re-examination after the paper was leaked.
