On a recent visit to Dibrugarh, Assam, Union Minister of Ports, Shipping & Waterways, Sarbananda Sonowal, took the opportunity to meet with local rickshaw and cart pullers. During this interaction, he shared a meal of Poori Sabji with them, emphasizing the government’s commitment to empowering every individual in society. Sonowal highlighted the Antyodaya philosophy of Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s government, which aims for equal development and dignity for all.

Sonowal expressed his joy in meeting the workers during the festive Durga Puja season, reminiscing about his childhood while enjoying the meal with his ‘Shramik brothers’.

In Haryana, the BJP is leading with 49 seats, while the Indian National Congress (INC) follows with 36 seats. In Jammu & Kashmir, the Jammu & Kashmir National Conference (JKNC) leads with 41 seats, with the BJP securing 27 seats.
