Haryana and Jammu & Kashmir Assembly Elections

As votes are being counted for the Haryana and Jammu & Kashmir Assembly elections, Union Minister Sarbananda Sonowal expressed confidence in the BJP’s success. He attributed this to the hard work of Prime Minister Modi over the past decade. In Haryana, BJP candidates are leading in 48 out of 90 seats, while Congress is leading in 36. In Jammu & Kashmir, the NC-Congress alliance is leading or has won 48 seats, with BJP leading or winning 29 seats.

Bhupinder Singh Hooda’s Optimism

Former Haryana Chief Minister and Congress candidate Bhupinder Singh Hooda remains optimistic about Congress’s victory. He retained his seat in the Garhi Sampla-Kiloi constituency and believes Congress is nearing a majority. Hooda mentioned that counting was paused in some areas but remained hopeful for a final win.
