Union Minister Sanjay Seth Criticizes Jharkhand’s Law and Order, Hemant Soren Released from Jail

Union Minister Sanjay Seth has criticized the law and order situation in Jharkhand, stating that the BJP will soon form a government in the state with a two-thirds majority. Seth expressed his concerns about the increasing crime rate and the troubles faced by common people, including youth, students, and teachers.

Former Jharkhand Chief Minister Hemant Soren, who was recently released from jail, reiterated that the case against him was a conspiracy. Soren was arrested in January on charges related to an alleged land scam and money laundering. He spent five months in jail before being granted bail by the Jharkhand High Court.

Soren claimed that the judicial process is taking years and that the case against him was aimed at tarnishing his image and harassing him for being a tribal. The investigation revealed that a syndicate, including Revenue Sub-Inspector Bhanu Pratap Prasad, was involved in corrupt property acquisitions. The ED had recovered Rs 36 lakh in cash and documents related to the investigation.
