In New Delhi, Union Minister Ravneet Singh Bittu expressed gratitude towards farmer leader Gurnam Singh Charuni for his comments on the Haryana Congress. Charuni, who ran in the Haryana Assembly elections from Pehowa, criticized Bhupinder Singh Hooda, calling him a “fool” for not compromising, despite the efforts of farm leaders to support Congress.

Bittu emphasized the need for security for Charuni due to potential threats after his allegations. He accused Congress of using Charuni against the BJP and the Prime Minister.

Businessman Robert Vadra also commented on the Haryana elections, expressing surprise at the BJP’s victory and supporting Congress’ concerns about electronic voting machines. He urged elected leaders to focus on state development.

In the elections, BJP won 48 out of 90 seats, while Congress secured 37 seats. Independents and INLD won 3 and 2 seats, respectively.
