Union Minister Pralhad Joshi Clarifies Separation from Brother Amid FIR

In New Delhi, Union Minister Pralhad Joshi addressed the media to clarify his separation from his brother, Gopal Joshi, following an FIR involving his kin. Joshi emphasized that he has been estranged from Gopal for over 32 years and has no sister, contrary to claims in the FIR. He stated that he had legally distanced himself from Gopal through a court affidavit and a public notice, asserting no responsibility for Gopal’s actions.

Joshi explained that a Family Arraignment Deed was executed in 2012, confirming their separation and lack of joint financial or social ties. He reiterated his disconnection from Gopal, highlighting a previous public advertisement warning against using his name for personal gain.

The FIR, filed by Sunita Chauhan, accuses Gopal Joshi, Vijaylakshmi Joshi, and Ajay Joshi of promising a BJP ticket using Pralhad Joshi’s influence. Joshi stated he would not interfere with the investigation and urged the law to take its course.
