Union Minister Pralhad Joshi and Leaders Celebrate Ganesh Chaturthi Across India
Hubbali (Karnataka) [India], September 7: Union Minister Pralhad Joshi joined the Ganesh Puja procession at Rani Chennamma Maidan in Hubbali as part of the Ganesh Chaturthi celebrations. He played the dhol and was accompanied by BJP MLA Mahesh Tenginkai.
In Hyderabad, Telangana Chief Minister Revanth Reddy participated in the Ganesh Puja and wished everyone a joyful celebration. The Bhagyanagar Ganesh Utsav Samiti set up a 70-foot tall idol of Lord Ganesha in Khairatabad.
Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu also took part in the Ganesh Puja at Vijayawada Collectorate, offering prayers to Lord Ganesh.
President Droupadi Murmu extended her greetings to Indians worldwide, emphasizing the festival’s role in promoting harmony. Prime Minister Narendra Modi, Union Home Minister Amit Shah, and Vice President Jagdeep Dhankhar also shared their wishes for a happy and prosperous Ganesh Chaturthi.
Ganesh Chaturthi, a ten-day festival, celebrates Ganesha as the ‘God of New Beginnings’ and the ‘Remover of Obstacles.’ It is celebrated with great enthusiasm across the country, with many devotees seeking blessings from Lord Ganesh.
