Union Minister Piyush Goyal Celebrates Mega CFC and SEEPZ’s 50th Anniversary in Mumbai

Union Minister Piyush Goyal visited the Bharat Ratnam – Mega CFC, a project by the Gem & Jewellery Export Promotion Council (GJEPC) and SEEPZ, in Mumbai. Goyal praised the facility, calling it a reflection of Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s vision for an Aatmanirbhar Bharat. He highlighted the potential for industry growth and the modernization of SEEPZ, which will boost exports.

GJEPC Chairman Vipul Shah and Vice Chairman Kirit Bhansali emphasized the impact of Free Trade Agreements (FTAs) on export growth. The India Jewellery Park in Mumbai is expected to attract significant investments and generate numerous jobs.

GJEPC continues to promote Indian gems and jewellery globally through trade fairs and events, including the International Gem & Jewellery Show (IGJS) and the upcoming 40th edition of IIJS Premiere.
