Union Minister Pabitra Margherita Criticizes Congress MP Gaurav Gogoi in Assam

In Biswanath, Assam, Union Minister of State for External Affairs, Pabitra Margherita, criticized Congress MP Gaurav Gogoi for his comments against the BJP. Margherita questioned who the Prime Minister of India is, suggesting it is Narendra Modi, not Rahul Gandhi or Robert Vadra. Gogoi had claimed that BJP’s decline began in Jorhat and would continue in Behali. Margherita countered by highlighting that the NDA won 11 seats compared to Congress’s 3 in the last Lok Sabha polls in Assam. He also noted that BJP and its allies led in 94 out of 126 assembly seats, while Congress led in only 29 or 30. Margherita expressed confidence that BJP and its allies would win all five assembly seats in the upcoming bye-elections on November 13. He participated in election campaign meetings in Behali alongside Assam Water Resources Minister Pijush Hazarika.
