Union Minister Nityanand Rai Visits BSF Posts in Jammu and Kashmir

Union Minister of State for Home Affairs, Nityanand Rai, along with the 78th battalion of the Border Security Force (BSF), visited forward posts on the Indo-Pakistan Border in Jammu and Kashmir’s Bandipura District of Gurez Valley. The visit took place on Saturday at an altitude of 12,000 feet.

Ensuring Border Security

During his visit, Nityanand Rai emphasized the importance of the soldiers’ role in keeping the country safe. He stated, “As our Jawans are engaged in guarding the country’s borders, that’s why countrymen remain safe.”

Strengthening the Forces

Rai highlighted that the paramilitary force has become stronger under the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi and the guidance of Home Minister Amit Shah. He assured that the borders are fully safe and secure, and the security forces are capable of responding effectively to any threats.

Interaction with Soldiers

During his visit, Rai interacted with the soldiers, shared a meal with them, and reviewed the security preparations. His two-day official visit to Jammu and Kashmir began on Saturday.
