Patna (Bihar) [India], July 5: Union Minister Nityanand Rai reacted to Rashtriya Janata Dal (RJD) Chief Lalu Yadav’s statement that Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s government could fall by August. Rai said that Lalu Yadav is ‘day dreaming’ and that the people of Bihar do not want ‘jungle Raj’ in the state.

Lalu Yadav claimed that the NDA government, which came to power last month, could fall by August and elections could happen anytime. He made these remarks while addressing party workers on RJD’s foundation day.

Nityanand Rai responded, ‘Lalu Prasad Yadav is day dreaming. By making PM Modi the Prime Minister for the third time, the people of the country and Bihar have expressed their wish that PM Modi is the true son of India and can take the country forward. The people of Bihar believe in PM Modi, Nitish Kumar, NDA-BJP, they do not want jungle raj.’

RJD leader Tejashwi Yadav also criticized the BJP, stating that it is against reservations and that the Mahagathbandhan government had raised the reservation quota to 75 percent. He emphasized that RJD has never compromised with BJP.

RJD celebrated its 28th foundation day, highlighting its commitment to the weak and deprived. The BJP-led NDA has won its third successive term in Lok Sabha polls, securing 293 seats with BJP getting 240 seats.
