Union Minister L Murugan Responds to Udhayanidhi Stalin’s Remarks on Hindi Imposition

In New Delhi, Union Minister L Murugan addressed comments made by Tamil Nadu Deputy Chief Minister Udhayanidhi Stalin regarding the imposition of Hindi. Murugan criticized the Dravida Munnetra Kazhagam (DMK) party, suggesting it stands for discrimination. He questioned the Tamil authenticity of Udhayanidhi Stalin’s name and argued that no one is imposing Hindi in Tamil Nadu, emphasizing that learning Hindi is optional.

Murugan accused DMK of not practicing the social justice they preach and praised Prime Minister Modi for promoting the Tamil language globally. He urged Tamil Nadu Chief Minister MK Stalin not to politicize language issues.

Udhayanidhi Stalin, on the other hand, claimed his statements were misrepresented and refused to apologize despite facing legal challenges.
