Union Minister Kiren Rijiju Criticizes Congress

In Chhatrapati Sambhaji Nagar, Maharashtra, Union Minister Kiren Rijiju criticized the Congress party, accusing them of using Muslims as a vote bank. He stated that the BJP aims to correct Congress’s mistakes by supporting underprivileged castes in Maharashtra financially. Rijiju also mentioned plans to establish Constitution buildings in every district and accused Congress of abolishing the Constitution during the Emergency.

MVA Challenges Maharashtra Government

The Maha Vikas Aghadi (MVA) criticized the Maharashtra government for issues related to law and order, corruption, and unfulfilled promises. Shiv Sena (UBT) leader Uddhav Thackeray announced that MVA will reveal their chief ministerial candidate after Mahayuti, an alliance of BJP, NCP, and Shiv Sena (Eknath Shinde faction), announces theirs. Thackeray also criticized the government over the killing of NCP leader Baba Siddiqui, raising suspicions about the Shinde government’s actions. Maharashtra assembly elections are expected later this year.
