New Delhi, India – Union Minister Giriraj Singh responded to Rahul Gandhi’s remarks about the Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS) made during his visit to the United States. Singh stated that the Congress party would need many lifetimes to understand the RSS, which he described as being rooted in Indian values and culture.

Giriraj Singh’s Response

Singh criticized Gandhi, saying, “If there is any technology to go to his grandmother and ask her about the role of RSS, then go and ask or look in the pages of history. To know about RSS, Rahul Gandhi will have to take many births. A traitor cannot know RSS. Those who go abroad and criticize the country cannot know RSS. It seems that Rahul Gandhi goes abroad only to defame India. Rahul Gandhi will not be able to understand RSS in this birth. RSS is born from the values and culture of India.”

He also mentioned that the people of India had rejected Congress under Gandhi’s leadership for the third time. Singh highlighted India’s progress under Prime Minister Narendra Modi, particularly in defense and economic growth.

Praveen Khandelwal’s Remarks

BJP MP Praveen Khandelwal also commented on Gandhi’s statements about unemployment. Khandelwal accused Gandhi of being out of touch with reality and of favoring China. He credited PM Modi with creating new employment opportunities through various schemes over the past decade.

Rahul Gandhi’s Statements

During his US visit, Gandhi discussed the issue of unemployment, comparing India’s situation to that of other countries like China and Vietnam. He argued that production creates jobs and criticized India for focusing on consumption instead.

Gandhi also contrasted the views of the RSS and Congress, stating, “The RSS believes that India is one idea and we believe that India is a multiplicity of ideas… This is the fight and the fight was crystallized in the election when millions of people in India clearly understood that the Prime Minister of India is attacking the Constitution of India.”

Gandhi arrived in Dallas, Texas, for his three-day US visit and was welcomed by Sam Pitroda, Chairman of the Indian Overseas Congress, and members of the Indian diaspora.
