Union Minister Giriraj Singh Accuses Congress and RJD of Temple Vandalism in Bihar

In Purnea, Bihar, Union Minister Giriraj Singh has accused members of the Congress and RJD of vandalizing a temple and its idol in Sanhaula, Bhagalpur, early on Sunday morning. Singh claims this act was intended to incite riots and implicate him. He urged the administration to apprehend the real culprits, blaming Rahul Gandhi for allowing civil unrest.

Singh’s comments came after JD(U) leader Khalid Anwar accused him of promoting an extremist ideology. Singh, however, stated that Hindus from various political parties support his ‘Hindu Swabhiman Yatra’ in Bihar, which he insists is not about political leaders or parties. He expressed his determination to continue his fight, even if it means going to jail.

Earlier, Khalid Anwar criticized Singh for attempting to disrupt Bihar’s social harmony with his yatra. Anwar appreciated the BJP for distancing itself from Singh’s ideology, emphasizing Bihar’s tradition of brotherhood. Singh also accused leaders of the INDIA bloc of Muslim appeasement and criticized Akhilesh Yadav’s lineage, referencing past actions by his father, Mulayam Singh Yadav.
