Union Minister Dharmendra Pradhan paid tribute to the renowned industrialist Ratan Tata, calling him one of India’s “Navratnas.” Ratan Tata, who was the Chairman Emeritus of Tata Sons, passed away at the age of 86 at Breach Candy Hospital in Mumbai. The Gujarat government declared a day of mourning in Tata’s honor, with the national flag flown at half-mast. Ratan Tata, born on December 28, 1937, in Mumbai, was a significant figure in Indian industry and philanthropy, having led the Tata Group and received the Padma Vibhushan in 2008.
