UAE’s Innovation Success Highlighted at Global Government Leaders Programme

The 2nd Global Government Leaders Programme (GGLP) in Dubai showcased the UAE’s achievements in government innovation. Led by Huda Al Hashimi, Deputy Minister of Cabinet Affairs for Strategic Affairs, and Khalfan Belhoul, CEO of the Dubai Future Foundation, the sessions focused on the UAE’s transformative projects and strategic plans for future industries.

Participants from 31 countries learned about the UAE’s leadership in innovation, driven by the UAE Vision 2021 and the Centennial Plan 2071. Al Hashimi emphasized the role of the Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum Centre for Government Innovation in fostering a culture of innovation through its guiding principles and action pillars.

The Government Accelerators Centre was highlighted for its agile approach to overcoming government challenges, using private sector methodologies. Khalfan Belhoul discussed the UAE’s global model for innovation and the Dubai Future Foundation’s efforts in future foresight and collaboration.

The programme, organized by the Government Experience Exchange Office and the Mohammed bin Rashid Centre for Leadership Development, aims to empower government leaders worldwide.
