Abu Dhabi, UAE – The United Arab Emirates has sent another plane to Lebanon, carrying 40 tonnes of relief supplies. This includes food, medical supplies, and shelter equipment. This marks the 12th aircraft sent as part of the “UAE stands with Lebanon” campaign.

Campaign Details

The campaign began on October 8th, following the directives of President Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan. It is overseen by Sheikh Mansour bin Zayed Al Nahyan and Sheikh Theyab bin Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan. The initiative aims to help Lebanon recover from hardships and displacement.

Humanitarian Efforts

Sultan Mohammed Al Shamsi, Assistant Minister of Foreign Affairs, stated that the UAE is committed to restoring Lebanon’s security and stability. The International Humanitarian and Philanthropic Council plays a crucial role in responding to global crises. Emirati donor institutions will continue supporting Lebanon until the situation improves.
