UAE President Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan Establishes UAE Aid Agency
Abu Dhabi, UAE – President Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan has announced the creation of the UAE Aid Agency through Federal Decree No. 27 of 2024. This new agency, part of the International Humanitarian and Philanthropic Council, will operate independently with full legal authority. Its mission is to implement foreign aid programs aligned with international humanitarian policies, focusing on disaster relief, recovery, and development.

The agency will plan, oversee, and execute government support initiatives, emphasizing disaster relief, early recovery, post-conflict stabilization, and capacity building. Mansour bin Zayed bin Sultan Al Nahyan, Vice President and Deputy Prime Minister, highlighted the agency’s role in continuing the humanitarian legacy of the UAE’s Founding Father, Zayed bin Sultan Al Nahyan.
