UAE’s Response

Lana Zaki Nusseibeh, the Assistant Minister of Foreign Affairs for Political Affairs, emphasized that the UAE firmly condemns the attack on international troops. She highlighted that targeting peacekeeping missions violates international law and UN Security Council Resolution 1701.

The UAE expressed solidarity with the countries participating in the UNIFIL mission whose soldiers were injured. Nusseibeh also extended wishes for a speedy recovery to all injured peacekeepers.
