UAE and World Economic Forum Launch ‘We the UAE 2031 Strategic Intelligence’ Platform
The UAE government, in collaboration with the World Economic Forum (WEF), has introduced the ‘We the UAE 2031 Strategic Intelligence’ platform. This initiative aims to support the UAE’s 2031 national vision using an AI-powered strategic design model. The launch took place at the 2024 Annual Meeting of the Global Future Councils (AMGFC24) from October 15-17, with key figures like Mohammed Abdullah Al Gergawi, UAE Minister of Cabinet Affairs, and Professor Klaus Schwab, WEF Founder, in attendance.
The platform will gather knowledge from 450 global sources and 2,500 experts to aid UAE policymakers and leaders in executing the national plan. This plan seeks to position the UAE as a global partner and economic hub. The platform’s creation follows a strategic partnership between the UAE Government and WEF, signed at the 2024 WEF Annual Meeting in Davos.
Huda Al Hashimi, Deputy Minister of Cabinet Affairs for Strategic Affairs, highlighted the platform’s role in empowering decision-makers. Olivier Schwab, WEF Managing Director, emphasized the importance of integrating technology into government work to enhance capabilities. The platform covers over 70 global policy topics and serves as a collaborative space for government leaders.
The AMGFC24 event brought together 500 experts from 80 countries to explore future opportunities in technology, environment, governance, economy, and society.
