Two Tiger Cubs Hit by Train in Bhopal Die During Treatment

Two tiger cubs, who were injured after being hit by a train at Midghat track in Sehore district, died while undergoing treatment at Van Vihar National Park in Bhopal. The cubs were rescued on July 16 and brought to the park for medical care.

According to an official release, the cubs underwent a detailed health check-up and X-ray on July 17. Despite continuous treatment and consultation with experts, the cubs’ severe injuries and fractures in their hind parts prevented them from recovering. One cub died on July 30, and the other on July 31.

Due to their severe injuries, the cubs were unable to consume sufficient food and water, leading to their deteriorating condition. After their deaths, the cubs were cremated according to protocols at Van Vihar National Park in the presence of senior officials.
