The operation was initiated following specific intelligence received on October 3 about potential terrorist infiltration through the Keran Sector. On October 4, around 8 pm, security forces observed suspicious movement near the Line of Control. When challenged, the terrorists opened fire, leading to a firefight in which two terrorists were neutralized. A large quantity of “warlike stores” was recovered, indicating the terrorists were heavily armed and well-trained.
