Two Russians Arrested in Dharamshala for Overstaying Visas
Two Russian citizens, Denis Larina and Iuliia Zhulanova, were arrested in Dharamshala’s McLeodganj for living without valid visas. Larina’s visa expired in January 2024, while Zhulanova’s expired in September 2015. They had been staying in a tent in the Hari Bawri forest for two months.
Hitesh Lakhanpal, Additional SP Kangra, stated that an FIR has been registered against them under the Foreigners Act 1946. Both will be produced in court and sent to judicial custody.
