On Saturday, two encounters between terrorists and security forces took place in Kulgam district, Jammu and Kashmir. The first encounter began in Modergam village, and later, another encounter started in the Frisal Chinnigam area.

The Kashmir Police confirmed the incidents on social media platform X, stating that police and security forces are actively involved in both encounters. Further details are awaited.

Recently, Jammu and Kashmir has seen several terror incidents. On June 27, three terrorists were neutralized in an encounter in the Gandoh, Bhaderwah sector. Additionally, on June 9, a bus carrying pilgrims fell into a gorge after a terrorist attack in Reasi district, resulting in nine deaths and 33 injuries.
