Two Cousins Arrested for Killing Loan Recovery Agent in Jabalpur
In a shocking incident in Jabalpur, Madhya Pradesh, two cousin brothers, Aman Choudhary (18) and Uday Choudhary (20), were arrested for killing a loan recovery agent after failing to pay their bike installment.
Incident Details
The incident occurred near Kugawan Village under the jurisdiction of Sanjeevani Nagar police station on September 24. The victim, identified as Rahul Patel, was a resident of Garha and worked as a loan recovery agent.
Police Investigation
Additional Superintendent of Police (ASP) Suryakant Sharma stated that the police received information about a body found near Kugawan Village. Upon reaching the spot, the police identified the body as Rahul Patel. Based on technical details and witness statements, the suspects were identified as Aman Choudhary and Uday Choudhary.
Confession and Arrest
During interrogation, the suspects confessed to the crime. They revealed that they had financed a motorcycle through Rahul Patel and were unable to pay the installment for the last three months. In frustration, they killed the recovery agent using a stick, a sharp-edged weapon, and by crushing his head with a rock.
A case of murder has been registered against the accused at Sanjeevani Nagar police station, and further investigation is underway.
