In a significant operation, the Tripura Police, led by Chief Minister Manik Saha, successfully intercepted a drug transport in Ambassa, Dhalai district. The police seized 80,000 YABA tablets valued at Rs 2 crore. Acting on secret information, the Ambassa Police detained a vehicle and arrested the driver, leading to the drug seizure. A case has been registered under the NDPS Act, and CM Saha praised the police for their efforts.

Earlier, on October 30, the Assam Rifles conducted a major operation in West Tripura district, seizing 90,000 Yaba tablets worth Rs 18 crores in the international market. Two individuals were arrested, and the seized drugs were handed over to the DRI, Agartala for further action.

Doubts Revealed
