Since August 19, continuous rainfall and floods in Tripura have resulted in 31 deaths and displaced over 72,000 people. The state has set up 492 relief camps and distributed clothing to those in need. Six State Disaster Response Force teams and five National Disaster Response Force teams are conducting relief operations. Tripura Chief Minister Manik Saha held a review meeting, and the state has received financial aid from Madhya Pradesh and requested further assistance from the central government.
