Agartala (Tripura) [India], September 3: After the recent floods in Tripura, many individuals and organizations have generously donated to the Chief Minister’s Relief Fund. These donors include banks, social organizations, and other groups, responding to Chief Minister Manik Saha’s call for help.

Chief Minister Manik Saha praised the community’s united response to the floods, highlighting the state’s ability to come together during crises. He made these remarks while inaugurating a blood donation camp organized by Ekadanta Social Organisation in Agartala’s Jackson Gate area.

Since the floods began on August 19, 31 people have lost their lives, and over 72,000 have been displaced. The government has set up 492 relief camps and distributed clothing to about 300 people in the Amarpur and Karbook sub-divisions.
