Tripura CM Manik Saha Praises PM Modi and Launches Har Ghar Tiranga Program
Agartala (Tripura), August 14: Chief Minister Manik Saha praised Prime Minister Narendra Modi, saying that the country has reached new heights under his leadership. Saha emphasized that the Tripura government is working towards improving all sectors, including health, education, agriculture, and sports, following PM Modi’s footsteps.
Speaking at the official launch of the Tiranga Yatra at Umakanta Ground in Agartala, Saha highlighted the importance of the Har Ghar Tiranga program in awakening patriotic sentiments. He stated, “The country comes first, before anything else. Various programs have been organized with this goal in mind.”
The event saw participation from people of various professions, including government officials, and school and college students. Saha mentioned that discussions have been held at various levels to ensure the program’s success. He added, “We hoisted the national flag even before 2022. But Prime Minister Narendra Modi insisted that the national flag should be hoisted in every household. The Tripura government took appropriate measures to make this happen.”
According to 2022 statistics, there are 8.5 lakh houses in Tripura. The government produced national flags of different sizes to match this number. Saha noted the enthusiastic response from the people of Tripura, attributing the patriotic sentiment to PM Modi’s leadership. He concluded by urging everyone to take an oath to move the country and the state forward.
During the program, Mayor and MLA of Agartala Municipal Corporation Dipak Majumder, Social Worker Rajib Bhattacharya, and Secretary of ICA Department PK Chakraborty were present. After the inauguration ceremony, the Chief Minister and other guests participated in a colorful procession in the capital city, carrying the tricolor.
