Tripura CM Manik Saha Launches BJP Membership Drive
Tripura Chief Minister Manik Saha announced that the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) has started its membership drive in the state. The goal is to enroll 12 lakh members in Tripura, while the national target is 10 crore members.
Prime Minister Modi’s Involvement
Prime Minister Narendra Modi launched the Membership Campaign 2024, and the drive has now begun in Tripura. CM Saha was the first to take membership, followed by the BJP State President.
Previous Campaign Success
In the previous campaign, over 18 crore people across the nation took membership. In Tripura, the target was three lakh members, but around six lakh members were enrolled.
