The meeting brought together Chief Ministers and Deputy Chief Ministers from BJP-ruled states to discuss election results and future strategies. The agenda included analyzing the Lok Sabha Election 2024 results, ensuring effective implementation of central and state schemes, and strategizing for upcoming assembly elections.

Key discussions focused on enhancing coordination between state and central governments, reviewing successful state schemes, and addressing challenges in implementing central government schemes. The goal was to foster greater collaboration and improve the party’s overall strategy.

Attendees included Uttar Pradesh CM Yogi Adityanath, Assam CM Himanta Biswa Sarma, Rajasthan CM Bhajanlal Sharma, Uttarakhand CM Pushkar Singh Dhami, Gujarat CM Bhupendra Patel, Maharashtra Deputy CM Devendra Fadnavis, Arunachal Pradesh CM Pema Khandu, Goa CM Pramod Sawant, Odisha CM Mohan Charan Majhi, Bihar Deputy CM Samrat Choudhary, and Chhattisgarh CM Vishnu Deo Sai.

Earlier, PM Modi emphasized the national ambition of making India a developed country by 2047 during the Ninth Governing Council Meeting of NITI Aayog. He highlighted the crucial role of states in achieving this goal, given their direct connection with the people.

The meeting aimed to promote participative governance and enhance collaboration between the Centre and state governments, improving the quality of life for both rural and urban populations through strengthened government interventions.
