Tripura CM Manik Saha Inaugurates Ujjayanta Palace Garden Renovation
In Agartala, Tripura, Chief Minister Manik Saha criticized the opposition for trying to block the state’s progress, stating that development challenges their political survival. During the inauguration of several projects, including the Ujjayanta Palace Garden renovation, CM Saha emphasized the government’s commitment to transparency and development.
He highlighted the Ujjayanta Palace as a symbol of Tripura’s rich history and heritage, noting that its restoration will enhance its appeal as a tourist destination. The project received financial support from the Asian Development Bank (ADB) and was led by Agartala Smart City Limited.
CM Saha announced further beautification plans, including water sports at Radhasagar near Laxminarayan Bari, and the development of a walking path, lighting, parking, and a multi-activity plaza. He stressed the government’s dedication to improving citizens’ experiences under Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s guidance.
Tourism Minister Sushanta Chowdhury, Mayor and MLA Dipak Majumder, and CEO of Agartala Smart City Limited Shailesh Kumar Yadav were present at the event.
