In Agartala, Tripura, Chief Minister Manik Saha spoke at the ‘Sanatan Dharma Sammelan’ held at Netaji Subhash College in Udaipur, emphasizing the restoration of a religious atmosphere in the state since the BJP government took power. He stated that any attempts to incite unrest in the name of religion would not be tolerated.

CM Saha highlighted the improvement in law and order and the state’s commitment to unity among diverse communities. He mentioned the persecution of Sanatanis in Bangladesh and assured that the Central government is monitoring the situation closely. He welcomed saints from across the country, hoping their presence would bring prosperity to Tripura.

The Chief Minister criticized the previous 35-year regime for maintaining an atheistic environment and praised the current government’s efforts in fostering a religious atmosphere. He noted that the opposition is fading away and accused them of trying to create unrest by exploiting religion.

CM Saha also praised Prime Minister Narendra Modi for prioritizing the development of traditional temples across India, including the Kamakhya Temple in Assam and the Mata Tripura Sundari Temple in Tripura.

The conference was attended by Finance Minister Pranajit Singha Roy, Matabari MLA Abhishek Debroy, Kakraban MLA Jitendra Majumder, and other distinguished religious personalities.
