Tripura Chief Minister Manik Saha Announces 13,661 Jobs and Emphasizes Fair Recruitment
On Wednesday, Tripura Chief Minister Manik Saha’s government announced a major goal to provide jobs to qualified individuals through transparent recruitment policies. The state has already given out 13,661 jobs in four categories during its tenure.
Chief Minister Saha made this announcement at a job offer distribution ceremony at the Panchayat Raj Training Institute in A D Nagar, Agartala. Job offers were given to Panchayat Executive Officers, CDPOs, and ICDS Supervisors.
In his speech, Chief Minister Saha highlighted the importance of a fair and transparent hiring process. He mentioned that Prime Minister Narendra Modi had talked about the struggles of candidates from underprivileged backgrounds who often don’t know where to find job opportunities. The Chief Minister stressed that a fair examination process is essential to ensure that even the most disadvantaged individuals can get jobs based on merit.

The Chief Minister challenged critics who claim that jobs are not being provided and reaffirmed the government’s commitment to transparency in recruitment. He also mentioned that the new employees would receive training to equip them with the necessary skills for their roles.
Dr. Saha expressed pride in the achievements of Tripura’s officers and employees who have received national awards. He also highlighted the recent implementation of the e-Panchayat system in the state, made possible through the teamwork of government employees and officers.
The ceremony was attended by several dignitaries, including MLA Meena Rani Sarkar, Chief Secretary JK Sinha, Chief Minister’s Secretary Dr PK Chakraborty, State Government Secretary Apurba Roy, Secretary of the Department of Social Welfare and Social Education Tapas Roy, and Secretary of the Rural Development Department Hemendra Kumar Raval, among other senior officials. A total of 473 new recruits received their job offer letters from the Chief Minister and other distinguished guests.
