After returning from New Delhi, Tripura Chief Minister Dr Manik Saha quickly organized a review meeting to discuss the flood situation in the state. The meeting was attended by key officials including Chief Secretary J.K. Sinha, Director General of Police Amitabh Ranjan, and senior members from the Public Works Department (PWD) and Drinking Water and Sanitation (DWS) Department.

The discussions focused on evaluating the current flood situation and implementing measures to manage and reduce the impact on affected areas. Dr Saha urged the officials to ensure timely support and relief for the affected people.

Earlier in the day, Dr Saha shared on social media that heavy rainfall had caused floods in several areas of South Tripura and other districts. Relief centers have been established to support those affected, and the district administration has been instructed to prioritize public safety and mitigate the flooding’s impact.

According to official sources, the administration is closely monitoring the situation and providing assistance to those in need.
