Train Services Disrupted in Navi Mumbai Due to Overhead Equipment Issue

Early Tuesday morning, train services between Vashi, Panvel, and Thane were disrupted due to an overhead equipment (OHE) issue in a coach at Nerul station in Navi Mumbai. The problem started at 4:55 am, significantly affecting all up-and-down train movements.

According to the Central Railways and Divisional Railway Manager (DRM) of Mumbai Central, restoration work began immediately. The DRM Mumbai Central stated, ‘Restoration work has been completed and train services resumed at 06:56 hrs.’
