Tragic Truck Accident in Devarapalli, Andhra Pradesh: Seven Dead

A tragic road accident occurred in Devarapalli, a village in East Godavari district, Andhra Pradesh, on Wednesday. A truck carrying eight people from Jangareddigudem fell into a canal at midnight, resulting in the deaths of seven individuals who were sitting on top of the truck. One person was rescued and taken to the hospital.

Deputy Superintendent of Police G Deva Kumar confirmed the incident and stated that the bodies of the deceased were transferred to Kovvur Government Hospital.

Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu expressed deep shock and grief over the accident. He conveyed his condolences to the families of the deceased and directed officials to provide better medical treatment to the injured. The Chief Minister assured that the government would support the victims’ families and take necessary measures to prevent such accidents in the future.
