Accident in Purulia, West Bengal

In Purulia, West Bengal, a road accident involving a pickup vehicle resulted in the deaths of four people and injuries to ten others. The accident occurred on the Jamsedhpur Bokaro Highway near the Aimundi junction, under the Purulia Muffasil Police Station. The front tyre of the pickup van burst, causing the accident. Police and locals quickly arrived at the scene to assist in rescue operations, and the injured were taken to the Purulia Government Medical College and Hospital.

Purulia MP Jyotirmay Singh Mahato commented on the incident, stating, “I demand that an FIR on murder charges be registered against those responsible. This has happened due to negligence by the administration.”

Accident in Shimla, Himachal Pradesh

In a similar incident, a bus accident in Shimla, Himachal Pradesh, resulted in the deaths of four people, including the driver and conductor of the Himachal Pradesh Road and Transport Corporation (HRTC) bus. The accident occurred in the Kenchi area of Jubbal when the bus, en route to Kuddu-Diltari in the Rohru area, fell off the mountain road into a gorge. Two people died on the spot, while the driver and conductor succumbed to their injuries on the way to the hospital.

Himachal Pradesh Governor Shiv Pratap Shukla, Chief Minister Sukhvinder Singh Sukhu, and Deputy Chief Minister Mukesh Agnihotri expressed their condolences to the families of the victims.
