Tragic Road Accident in Himachal Pradesh
Chief Minister Sukhvinder Singh Sukhu Offers Condolences
In a tragic incident, five people lost their lives in a road accident in the Mandi district of Himachal Pradesh. The accident occurred near Lachkandi when a car fell into a ravine as the group was returning from a wedding ceremony. Among the deceased was a 16-year-old, while the others were aged between 20 and 25.
Himachal Pradesh Chief Minister Sukhvinder Singh Sukhu expressed his heartfelt condolences to the families of the victims. He assured them of all possible support during this difficult time. The Chief Minister stated, “I am deeply saddened to hear the news of the untimely death of five people in a horrific road accident. I pray for peace for the departed souls and strength for the bereaved families.”
District authorities have provided immediate relief of Rs. 25,000 to the next of kin of each deceased person. Mandi Superintendent of Police, Sakshi Verma, confirmed the ages of the victims and the circumstances of the accident.
