Tragic Murder of Teacher Sunil Kumar and Family in Amethi

In a shocking incident in Oharwa Bhawani, Amethi, a 35-year-old teacher named Sunil Kumar and his family were brutally murdered at their home on the eve of Navratri. The victims included Sunil, his wife Poonam Bharti, and their two young daughters, aged five and two.

According to the police, Poonam had previously filed a complaint against Chandan Verma, a potential suspect, under various sections of the Indian Penal Code at the Raebareli Police Station. Superintendent Anup Singh stated that there were no signs of forced entry, and the case does not appear to be a robbery. The police are investigating if the complaint against Verma is linked to the murder.

A post-mortem was conducted, revealing that Sunil was shot once, Poonam twice, and the children had exit wounds, confirming they were killed by bullets. The findings have been submitted to the police.
