Tragic Loss of Anil Shukla in Ganderbal Attack
In Rewa, Madhya Pradesh, the father of Anil Shukla mourns the loss of his son, who was killed in a recent attack in Ganderbal, Kashmir. Anil, a mechanical engineer, had moved to Kashmir for work. He had promised his father a visit in January, but tragically, he was killed in a terrorist attack. Anil’s father shared that his son would call every morning at 8:00 AM, but on the day of the attack, there was no call. Later, they were informed of his death.
Another victim, Shashi Bhushan Abrol, was also killed in the attack, raising concerns about the safety of civilians in Kashmir. The attack occurred on the Srinagar-Leh highway in Gagangir village, where terrorists targeted a construction site, killing a doctor and six other non-local workers.
In response, the Counter-Intelligence Kashmir (CIK) conducted operations in six districts, including Srinagar and Ganderbal, to dismantle a recruitment module of the terrorist group “Tehreek Labaik Ya Muslim” (TLM), linked to Lashkar-e-Taiba (LeT). The group was reportedly led by a Pakistani handler, Baba Hamas.
