Tragic Incidents in Hyderabad and Narasaraopeta: Young Girls Assaulted

In Hyderabad, a 13-year-old girl was allegedly sexually assaulted multiple times by a group of people, including her boyfriend, at Neredmet. The girl’s mother filed a complaint at Kachiguda Police Station, and the police have initiated an investigation.

Sub-inspector Subhash from Kachiguda Police Station stated, “Yesterday, the victim’s mother gave a complaint about five people. The girl is a native of Kachiguda and has a boyfriend who stays in Neredmet. Her boyfriend took her outside many times on a bike. One day her boyfriend allegedly sexually assaulted her at Neredmet. After some days he introduced his friends to her and they also sexually assaulted her. A case has been registered and an investigation is going on.”

In another incident in Narasaraopeta, Andhra Pradesh, an 18-year-old youth allegedly raped a 5-year-old girl. The girl’s parents filed a complaint with the Narasaraopet rural police station. The police have registered a case under the POCSO Act against the accused, identified as Chandu, who is currently absconding. Narasaraopet rural sub-inspector Rossayya said efforts are on to trace him.
