Family Dispute Leads to Firing in Amroha
In Malkapur village of Dhanaura, Amroha, a heated argument between two families led to a tragic firing incident on Saturday night. The disagreement arose because the girl’s parents were against her court marriage to Arjun, a resident of Dhanaura. The girl’s father, along with four others, visited the boy’s residence, where the argument escalated, resulting in the girl’s father opening fire. The boy’s father was killed, and another person was injured but is now out of danger. Superintendent of Police (SP) Kunwar Anupam confirmed that an FIR has been filed, and the accused have been arrested. Further investigation is ongoing.
Three-Year-Old Girl Shot in Patna
Earlier, on July 3, a three-year-old girl was tragically shot in the Danapur area of Patna district. The incident occurred in Ram Jaipal Nagar, under the jurisdiction of Rupaspur police station. The girl was shot in the chest and rushed to the hospital, but she died during treatment. An FIR has been registered under the new Criminal Act against the unidentified accused. ASP Deeksha stated that an investigation has started, and FSL has inspected the spot. CCTV footage of the surrounding area is being checked.
