Tragic Gas Leak in Jalandhar: One Person Loses Life, SDM Balbir Singh Orders Probe
A gas leak at a factory near Domoria Bridge in Jalandhar, Punjab, resulted in the death of one person. Emergency services and fire department officials were dispatched immediately with adequate equipment.
According to the police, the person was rescued unconscious and later died. Sub Divisional Magistrate of Jalandhar, Balbir Singh, has ordered a magisterial probe into the incident, which occurred on Saturday.
Speaking to reporters, SDM Balbir Singh said, “One person was rescued unconscious. He has lost his life. SDM has marked a magisterial inquiry and has asked to file a report within 15 days.” More details are awaited.
