A heartbreaking incident occurred in Vaddera Basthi, Dammaiguda, Medchal-Malkajgiri district, where a 7-year-old boy named Manjali Anuraj lost his life due to a suspected short circuit. The incident took place on a Friday evening.

Details of the Incident

According to the sub-inspector of Jawahar Nagar police station, Manjali Shanu, the boy’s mother, reported that she had left her son at home to attend a funeral. Her son, a second-grade student, was at home when the fire broke out.

At around 7 pm, Manjali Shanu was informed by her sister-in-law’s daughter that smoke was coming from her house. Upon returning, she discovered that a short circuit had caused the bed to catch fire, tragically resulting in her son’s death.

Police Investigation

The police have filed an FIR based on the mother’s belief that the short circuit was the cause of her son’s death. The investigation is ongoing to determine the exact cause of the fire.
