Tragic Fire at Jhansi Medical College
A devastating fire at Maharani Laxmi Bai Medical College in Jhansi claimed the lives of 10 newborns. The fire, suspected to be caused by a short circuit in an oxygen concentrator, spread quickly in the NICU. West Bengal Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee expressed her sorrow and called for immediate action to prevent such incidents. She stated, “We stand in solidarity with the affected families and demand accountability.”
