Tragic Electrocution in East Godavari
Andhra Pradesh CM Chandrababu Naidu Responds
In a tragic incident in East Godavari district, Andhra Pradesh, four young men lost their lives due to electrocution. The accident occurred in Taatiparru village, Undrajavaram mandal, during preparations for the inauguration of a statue of Pappanna Goud.
Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu expressed deep sorrow over the incident and announced a compensation of Rs 5 lakh for the families of each deceased. He extended his heartfelt condolences and assured government support to the affected families. The Chief Minister also directed officials to ensure that the injured receive proper medical treatment.
Inspector Srinivas Rao confirmed that five individuals were affected during the preparations, resulting in four deaths and one person being hospitalized. The victims were identified as Bolla Veerraju, Pamarthi Nagendra, Marishetti Manikantha, and Kasagani Krishna, who were setting up banners when the accident happened.
